Hi Jane, I love these resources! I read a lot of medical memoir / adjacent books and have recently started to make recommendations on my instagram page (https://www.instagram.com/zks_mother.doctor.writer/). A book recommendation about MS would be The Unmapped Mind by Christian Donlan, and an article I found really moving is this by Paraic O'Donnell: https://www.irishtimes.com/culture/books/paraic-o-donnell-ms-is-meticulously-destroying-me-i-am-being-unmade-1.4168380. Have you read either of these?

Thank you Zofia, I just read the Paraic O’Donnell piece, incredibly moving, thank you for sharing, I hadn’t seen it before. I will also check out the Christian Donlan book too - so glad I asked for recommendations!

Hi Jane, thanks for this! Can I recommend books by Jeffrey N. Gingold, a US MS advocate who had to give up a law career due to the cognitive challenges of his MS. He has written a couple of books on the subject:

- Facing the Cognitive Challenges of Multiple Sclerosis

- Mental Sharpening Stones.

These were recommended to me by Donna Nahal who I follow on instagram. She also does a podcast with Emma Rogan (emmaj_rogan on instagram) where they discuss life with MS called The MS Agency.

Hi Victoria. Thank you so much for these recommendations, I hadn’t heard of any of them so will check them out and add to the collection. Will be really helpful to have some books with a focus on cognitive issues and MS, not something I’ve seen written about very much.
